Do I need a police report before towing after an accident?
Garages in the UAE need a police report before they can repair accident damage, so get one at the scene or through the police app. Towing can go ahead while the report is being issued, but keep it ready for the workshop and your insurer.
Can you tow a car out of a basement car park?
Usually, yes. Most basements are too low for a flatbed, so the car is rolled to the ramp on wheel dollies and loaded at street level.
Do you tow between emirates?
Yes. Moves such as Sharjah to Dubai or Dubai to Abu Dhabi are common, often to take a car back to the dealer that holds its warranty.
