Oil Change: what you get

An oil change at home takes about 30 to 45 minutes: the technician drains the old oil, fits a new filter and refills with oil that meets your manufacturer's viscosity and approval. Heat, long idling in traffic and short trips are listed as severe operating conditions in many owner manuals, so a lot of cars in the UAE need fresh oil sooner than the standard interval. A drip mat protects your parking floor, and the old oil and filter are taken away for proper disposal.

How often should I change engine oil in the UAE?

Follow the severe-service interval in your owner manual rather than the normal one. A car that sits parked for months over the summer still needs a change at least once a year, because oil ages even when the engine does not run.

Can you change the oil in my building's car park?

In most residential and office car parks, yes. The technician works over a drip tray and mat and leaves the bay clean, and we check whether your building asks for a permit or a note to security.

Will an oil change at home affect my car's warranty?

Using oil that meets the manufacturer's specification is what the service schedule asks for, and we record the grade, approval and mileage for your service history. If the car is on a dealer service contract, check its terms first.
