Terms and conditions
These terms apply when you book any service from Dubai Battery Services ("Dubai Battery", "we") by phone, WhatsApp or through dubaibattery.ae. By confirming a booking you agree to them.
Services
We provide mobile car battery testing, jump starts, battery replacement and related electrical checks at your location in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Other car services listed on the site are carried out by our roadside team or by partner workshops, as described on each service page.
Arrival times shown on the site are typical, not guaranteed. Traffic, weather, building access and demand can affect them, and we will keep you updated.
Quotes and prices
- We confirm the price on WhatsApp or by phone before a technician sets off. The quote includes the battery, delivery, fitting, testing and disposal of the old battery unless stated otherwise.
- If the technician finds on arrival that your car needs a different battery from the one quoted (for example because the car has start-stop or a different size fitted), we will explain why and give you the new price before doing any work. You are free to decline.
- Prices include VAT where applicable.
Payment
Payment is due when the job is complete, by card, cash, bank transfer, Tabby or Tamara.
Instalment plans with Tabby or Tamara are agreements between you and that provider and are subject to their approval and terms.
Battery warranty
- Batteries we supply carry a warranty of up to 24 months from the fitting date. The exact period for your battery is written on your invoice and depends on the brand and range.
- The warranty covers manufacturing defects that stop the battery holding charge under normal use. If a battery fails within the warranty period, we test it at your location and replace it if the test confirms a fault.
- The warranty does not cover batteries drained by lights or accessories left on, faults in the car's charging system that were reported to you and not repaired, physical damage, accident damage, use in a car other than the one it was fitted to, or batteries fitted or tampered with by someone else.
- Keep your invoice; we need it, or your phone number, to find the warranty record.
Access to your car
You confirm that you own the car or have the owner's permission for the work. Please arrange building or community access, visitor parking and the car key before the technician arrives.
If we cannot reach the car after arriving, a call-out charge may apply. We will tell you before setting off if it does.
Cancellations
You can cancel free of charge any time before the technician arrives. Once the work has started, the parts fitted and work done are payable.
Liability
We use a memory saver and follow the manufacturer's procedure, but some cars may lose radio presets, clock or window settings after a battery change. Resetting these is not a fault.
Our liability for any job is limited to the value of that job, except where UAE law does not allow such a limit. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults found during testing.
Old batteries
Old batteries we remove become our responsibility and are passed to licensed lead-acid recyclers.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the UAE. Disputes go to the courts of Dubai.
