Does a Zeekr have a 12V battery?
Yes, every Zeekr has a 12V battery that powers the locks, screens and control units and wakes the high-voltage system. When it fails, the car stays dark even with a fully charged main battery.
Can a Zeekr be jump started?
A Zeekr with a flat 12V battery can be boosted to wake the car, after which the main pack recharges the 12V battery while the car is on. If the warning returns, the 12V battery should be tested and replaced.
Do you work on the Zeekr high-voltage battery?
No, the high-voltage traction battery is a dealer job, and we only test and replace the 12V auxiliary battery. In practice, the 12V battery is behind most no-power situations on an electric car.
How long does a Zeekr battery last in the UAE?
In UAE conditions a Zeekr battery typically lasts 3–4 years. Heat, short trips and long periods parked shorten that, so we recommend a test once the battery passes two years.
